FORT-ified is a process that speaks to the whole child in all of us. Every human being is created to connect and live in community. Feeling loved, important and safe are the most basic of human needs, regardless of age. FORT-ified creates powerful, healthy, life-long relationships within and beyond every participant in our process. We begin with individual challenges while articulating our hopes and dreams. Then we create imaginary forts, first by erecting corner posts, next, connecting our stories and finally sharing our self-discoveries with others. FORT-ified is a never ending process. In sharing with others we pass our collective learning on to the next fort builders; one fort builder at a time.
